Alayna asked "Mommy, what is Aunt Lisa's favorite color?" I answered, "Yellow" She answered excitedly..."I know what we can do with her...we can go for a walk and show her all the yellow sunflowers!" So that is what we did when Aunt Lisa came to stay a day with us. We went on a walk pointing out all the yellow flowers and sunflowers.

Alayna insisted on putting a sunflower in her hair so she could look "pretty"...I think she's right, she does look pretty!

That was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. Thanks again for lunch. Alayna honestly couldn't be any cuter! I love being an Aunt!
Once again, you are good at taking pictures of flowers. I remember you took a picture of one in Canada that was great. I love that you put the flower in her hair. When I have a girl, I hope she has a flower in her hair all the time! However, I don't know where that excitement comes from. It's not like I am too anxious to ever do my own hair. Anyway, the picture of Alayna and her aunt is so sweet.
