He recently has discovered books. Yes, I have read him his fair share of books in his life, but he hasn't shown interest until now. It's actually really cute, because he will pick up a book and walk it over to me and try to climb onto my lap. I really love his reminders to read to him!!

i'm so excited that jacob loves books, that makes getting him a gift so much easier (especially since i already have books for him but i was waiting until he warmed up to the idea). you're kids are going to think that we give the most boring gifts, first bedding now books, what kind of lame aunt and uncle are we.
I always thought that was cutest thing when my kids would finally be interested in books! That's a cute picture of them on the stairs!
Diana, your kids are just sooo adorable! I don't think one family is allowed to have a monopoly on cute kids- but you and your sisters do!! C'mon Whitney, I need some help!!... lol
